1/32 Su-25UB Frogfoot B FINISHED (new pics added)

I’ve finally finished this kit (1/32 Trumpeter Su-25UB B) after working on it off and on again over the last year. The cockpit is all resin while the rest is kit parts and tons of putty.

I’ll try and shoot some better pics later, but for now these will have to do.

Looking back, I’d have done some things differently had I thought of them at the time… c’est la vie.

Now I have to do is find a place to put it…

Nice looking Frogfoot. You did a great job. If can’t figure out a place to put it bring it to my house I find a spot [whstl]

Thanks! It just took First in class and tied for Best of Show in a local contest today, I’m pretty pleased with that.

Congratulations, it’s fun to win.

Congrats Dre! [t$t] Well done. If I can give a small suggestion. Next time you are in a craft store, pick up a piece of blue posterboard. It makes models show up better when used as a backdrop for taking pics.

Jim [cptn]

Jim- thanks! [:)] I rushed those snaps just after finishing it. The photo studio at work is being painted this week (of all weeks) so I can’t use it for better pics. Not to be unnecessarily contrary, but I prefer a white or neutral backdrop.

A friend snapped these at the show yesterday…(thanks, Mike!) I like these photos because they’re taken from someone else’s POV and show what they saw, not what i want to show off!

I should have made some backing rotors for those main gear…

That one turned out really nice Dre! This a/c has some interesting lines and I dont think I have ever really paid much attention to it until now.

It is not an unattractive aircraft and it always reminds me of a slightly porked-out BAe Hawk.

There is a certain elegance to its lines- Sukhoi Design Bureau do good things with curves.

I like it it looks good, yeah Sukhoi do make good looking planes I agree. Just waiting for the 1/32 su33 I will bet my wages it’s gonna be released now China has it.

Awesome Dre it came out sweet! Very nicely done Sir!

Thanks, Trey, it was a fun build.
