1/32 Spitfire MkI finished!

[:)]Hi everyone,

here’s my finished Revell MkI Spit. It wears 1940 Battle of Britain markings of No 234 Sqn. The kit was built out of box, with the exception of, dropped tail planes, added gun barrels inside the wings, etched brass seat harness and some stretched sprue for the antenne/wires. The raised panel lines on the fuselage were highlighted with drybrushed aluminium paint.
The kit isn’t that great, but it was fun to have a go at adding some details, so I feel like I’ve made some more progress. Let me know what you guys think,

I LIKE it!!! Thanks for the pics.

Nice Spit…
It’s good to see extra effort put into those old, sub-standard (by todays standard) classic kits. Well done.

Very nice Spitfire build Darren. Your painting is awesome.
Thanks for posting the pics, Bill.

Very very nice job Darren

Love the cockpit !

Nice job, Darren !

I like the harness draped over the door and the IFF antennas.
Well done !

[:)] Thanks guys for your kind words! I’m glad you folks like the seat harness, it took 22 bits of brass and much fustration[:(!][:D] to get it right!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look,

Regards,

Darren[;)]
