had some hobby time tonight so here’s the lastest progress from my workbench…
I’ve managed to put the fuselage together and give it a couple of sprays, this kit is a pain in the neck for fit problems (seams, wingroots especially[V]) I spent a good hour and a half on sanding alone! [:0]
Still, all the seams and other sticky-out bits have now been done away with [:D]
and I’ve tidied up the dropped tail-planes. The paint job is’nt finished yet, I need to sharpen up some of the edges[:o)]
WOOooooo Darren, very very nice…!!! Even though she gave ya a struggle, you sure have a hold on her…[;)]
Looking forward to the finished build. I take it that this Spit is the Revelogram kit??
Flaps up, Mike
comin’ right along Darren!![tup] i with ya friend, sanding and filling i can do without. i want to get straight to the painting and weathering!!LOL i like cockpits too though. she’s lookin’ good so far. later.
Looks good Darren !
After just painting one of those schemes in 1/48, I know what you mean about tightening up the edges.
Looking forward to the progress !
after all that sanding I needed some encouragement!
Mike,
this kit is a Revell release of a Hasegawa kit with new tool wings made by Revell-confused? Yeah, me too! I guess it was the most cost effective way for Revell to produce a 1/32 Mk1 Spit. Now if only Tamiya would make a spit in this scale…
