1/32 scale pilot figures, in seated position.

I recently got back into modeling after a long rest. (17 years). My starting project is the Tam 1/32 scale F-4 D Phantom II. I really like the jet age. As a Viet Nam Vetran who served with the 1/10th Cav in the Central Hylands of Viet Nam I plan to build a Jet dedicated to another vetran during the years I searved over there. I was happly surprised to see so many places to find reference material and that Tam put pilot figures in the cocpit. WOW! No more cutting up the standing figures. Very few manufactures put pilot figures in the cocpit. I really like to build my planes in the flying position as they seem more natural flying. Having pilot figures really adds the touch. Does anyone know of a company that produces pilot figures in the seated (Flying Position} like the Tam figures? Modern and WWII pilots. I’ve done a lot of kit collecting over the years, I’ve just retired and my family wants me to enjoy building all that I’ve collected. Especially my wife. [:)] I need to show her that I did’nt waste the money on my hobbie. I want to thank FSM and all of the builders who use this form. My family and all of you who add to this form have given me inspireation to build again. Thanks. D.L.K.

Sir:

First of all [#welcome] to this here family.

Second, get your wife interested by having her do the faces of the pilots. Women put on makeup every day of their lives. She will be doing what she does all the time, only now she has a visual “hey look at this”.

Third, we’ll always be here.

there are a lot of aftermarket that make pilot figures, like Verlinden, PJ etc. Just search the web and you are bound to find them.

Hope this helps.
