1/32 Scale B-17

I was reading at the Verlinden site that Panda (a China company) will be releasing a 1/32 B-17F and a B-17G. Does anyone have any more information on these kits???

oh my god!!![:O] if you thought 1/48th scale was big you’d probably need another room to build and display that monster in and it would be worse if Panda did the B-52 in 1/32nd scale![:O]

LOL Dont hold your breath. People have been waiting awhile now for their 1/35th line of Chinooks. So in my opinion if they do release them your going to be waiting a long time for it. Bryan

If somebody made a 1/24 B-52, I would sell everything but my clothes and live in it. Better putty it up GOOOD!

Actually the rumor is true - I have no idea of what kind of price we’ll be looking at but I’m sure it will be as massive as the models.

The rumour that Panda announced a 1/32 B-17 is true. Whether or not it will ever actually be released is still a question. Panda hasn’t exactly been setting any records for new kit releases.

I’d venture to say We ALL hav been waiting for such an interesting release to come out such as the B-17 in a 1/32 scale with a 10 man crew the detail of each crew station and gun emplacement would make the strongestest of us begin to drool. One word of caution would be that 1/32 German U-boat Release more than a year and a half ago, over 6 feet long and a COOL $1800.00 WHEEEEEEEEEWWWW!

Ok even they do release them what about the quality of detail. The two F-35’s that I am doing dont have the greatest amount of detail. The price might not be that bad due to the lack of detail, but I am also pretty sure that there will be a bunch of after market stuff for them. Just my opinion. Bryan

Let’s see… B-17G in 390BG livery and B-17F in 381BG colors. Yeppers, they will be nice. Even nicer with the AM products. (Wipes drool from mouth.) Must have at least 2 of them. (Wipes foam from mouth.)
