Does anyone know who sells 1/32 scale C130 military aircrafts at a reasonable price?

Italeri do a 1/48th C-130. Never heard of a 1/32nd scale Herc though…

thanks guys. I guess I’ll have to scatcbuild a part of it as I only need the tail with the cargo rear door.

BTW, I was refering to the old version of the c130 hercules not the new one.

Do you realize how big a 1//32nd C130 would be? You would bring it hme with a lift truck.

If I brought home a 1/32nd C-130 me and my new purchase would be sleeping in the garage!

thanks guys. But I was thinking more on the line of incoporating it with my 1/35 scale container loading equipment that I’m building. Sinece most planes done by manufacturers are 1/32 i just assumed there was one of a c130. I guess i should have said 1/35 instead of 1/32, althought it’s not too far in scale.

Well I’ve just got the 1/48th Ac-130 U-Boat, and that’s MASSIVE! I’m not sleeping in the garage though, cos it was a birthday present. [:D]

Alright guys. i was thinking again and thought to myself. Big you said. Well, there must be several versions of this plane because it seems to me that you guys were referring to this one at this link: http://www.mimetix.it/aereonautica%20americana%20c130.htm . Now that is big. I take it that this one is the newer version of the C130.

Now the one i was referring to is this one: http://www.vogue-web.ch/phantom/c130.jpg .
Now this is not that big compared to the one above which you guys are suggesting taking up a whole house, so to speak.

The top one is the C-5B. The Bottom is a C-130B or H. The C-130 is not available in a larger scale than 1/48 and the only one is Testors, which should be due to be rereleased. The C-5 is available in 1/72 (vacuuform only) 1/144 and 1/200.

What everyone’s been saying is that in 1/32 scale the C-130 is a pretty large airplane. The real bird is 98 feet long and has a wingspan of 132 feet. That translates to a length of over 3 feet and a wingspan of over 4 feet. No one makes a kit of the airplane that big. The biggest kit available is the Testors/Italeri 1/48th AC/C-130.
