1/32 P-40 options

My dad and I are about to finish Revell’s 1/48 P-40…He hated it, haha, cuz of the crappy plastic, fit, all the other things that comes with Revell kits. So he wanted me to find a bigger scale and better P-40. So alas, which one is better? Hasegawa 1/32 P-40K, P-40E, or Trumpeter P-40B…any help would be greatly appreciated. Cost isn’t really an issue because they are within $10 of eachother. What I’m looking for I guess is which on is 1) Easier to put together, and 2) Which one has more detail.

Thanks guys

Josiah

I have the Trumpeter P-40 in the stash but have not built it yet. From what I have read, the Hasegawa kits are supposed to be better in fit/ease of build. But I think the Trumpeter has a tad more detail.

The Trumpeter kit has a couple of major issues, especially with the interior detail & external rivits. The Hasegawa kits are superior in fit & detail, so unless you want the B variant, go with Hasegawa.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know guys. Thanks!
