1:32 Hellcat, is there somthing else besides Hasegawa?

Hello all![:D]

I believe that the hasegawa release is one of the older generation (raised lines, overstated rivets, crappy plastic - much like my old 190 A8 [xx(][xx(][xx(]) is that true?
Now there is a speacial edition of the 10000 hellcat celebraition.
Is it worth buying?
*Hope trumpeter will read this one…[*dinner]
thanks!

As far as I know the Hellcat from Hasegawa is the only one in that scale. That dosen’t mean there aren’t any more. I don’t think there are though. Good luck. That plane should not be too hard to rescribe though. The rivit heads will be tough, though.

I just got one today and the seams are not raised. It appears to be a very good model of a Hellcat.

I once had a 1/32 Hellcat by Frog. It was a few years ago, but I seem to recall it wasnt too bad a kit. Of course, they are like rocking horse s**t now, so probably not much use to you!!!

Hmm… Maybe I’ll wait for a retool.
thanks guys!

Hasegawa makes the only 1/32 F-6F Hellcat. The best you can do, is to get the detail set from Verlinden for the cockpit and gun bay, see here:

Hope it helps.
