I was wondering if anyone knew of figures that would represent a helicopter crew in 1/32. I’m trying to source them for the 1/32 revell ec145 build I’m going to be starting
Why not just go with a 1/35 crew. 1/32 and 1/35 are often intermixed due to the closeness of the scales. You probably have more options in 1/35, see here aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php
Yeah, that’s what I’d do, too. And you usually have to reposition the figs a little, so they fit really well - and you could use this opportunity to lenghten the arms and legs a little for extra accuracy. If you have the place inside the model, that is - because the interior is pretty cramped and the figs, being a bit smaller, can help you put them inside. Let’s also look at the numbers: A man measuring 1,80m would scale to 51,4mm in 1/35. In 1/32 he would be 56,3 mm tall. Suppose we take a pilot that is 52mm tall in 1/32 - then he would scale to 1,63m 1:1. A bit of a shorty, but still realistic. I say as log as he is seated it shouldn’t be visible at all. Then again, if you comapare Dragon figures from different sets, they sometimes don’t fit together at all, some are extra big, some very small. But nothing a little surgery couldn’t fix:

From what I have found, most 1/35 figures (pilots and ground) work fine with 1/32 helos and aircraft without modifying them.

Its easier when considering people, on average were shorter generations ago. Not sure what era a ec145 was from but even back in Vietnam a very tall person would be just over 6’. Figures of different heights in a scene is more realistic than everyone standing the same height. Agreed with all the comments above.
