hAVE A QUICK QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS. i HAVE THE eduards SET FOR THIS. iT HAS AMMO FEED BELTS FOR THE GUNS. mY ? IS WOOD TOOTH PICS (THE END OF THEM) BE ABOUT THE RIGHT SIZE FOR 50 CAL SHELLS?? jUST WONDERING IF IT WOOD WORK
Find the dimentions of the actual 50 caliber shell and then scale that down to 1/32nd scale. Length should not be a problem, but the diameter of the toothpick may be to large.
DB, are you looking to make empty shells or like an ammo belt?
A quick way to simulate the ammo belt is to pick up a Tamiya wepaons set in 1/35. They usually have a few lengths of ammo belt that can be heated and bent. Or if you plan on using them in a chute, it’s even easier. I did that on my 1/32 Hellcat

A little hard to see, but those are the 1/35 ammo belts in scratchbuilt chutes.
