anyone comment on what is available for the cockpit of the Trumpeter 1:32 corsair. I have screwed the one that came with the kit up and am looking for a replacement. Also need a canopy for an SBD dauntless, the accurate miniatures 1:48 model. Any ideas where to get one?
For the canopy, you can probably get a vac-formed one from squadron. And you can probably get a resin replacement cockpit from Aires or True details or another AM supplier. They generally look better anyway.

BlackBox has a cockpit for the Trumpeter F4U-1D, not sure about the F4U-4 though. I have one in mine and it looks pretty good. Pix of it are here: http://www.craigcentral.com/models/f4u-1d/default.asp
I am using the Verlinden cockpit it needs a little re-work but it’s much better than the kit one and has much more detail.
