Building the Trumpy 1/32 109K4 for Bishe’s Messerschmitt GB, posting here for those not following the GB.
This will be the markings I will use
The motor is going together and those pipes are hollowed out, nice detail.
The interior fuselage has the ribbing details
The pit is well represented as is the engine having lots of details

Got the DB motor painted up. Once mounted in the fuselage, plan to add plumbing and wires to busy things up.

That made me both thrilled, and very old at the same time.
I can remember when a 1/48 kit having 52 parts would have been amazing. And cost some outstanding sum, like $2.95 or some such unbelievable figure.
At the same time, it’s a wonderous marvel of our modern times to have such detail available.
And to only consider it a “starting point” for detailing.

Most of the office is done. I went with the pe seat option since it’s more scale like in thickness. All the cannon breech detailed is hidden under the cover and unfortunately not visible but it is very well detailed.
The IP is made out of several parts and will look very realistic once painted and assembled
Nice little “mini kits”. Amazing amount of detail on the engine and cockpit.
The K pit is shaping up. Still lots more stuff to add but it’s moving along.
Next will be some corrections on the side walls for the correct K configuration.
So I’m working on the pit sidewalls and something just didn’t look right. Did a lot of net surfing for the K pit and seems Trumpeter included the G series parts as the K, no surprise here as I well know that companies often goof details.
Here is the pit with the included parts
After some corrections on both sidewalls. The right side sidewall panel is the wrong shape and was unable to undue the Tamiya glue securing it so I left it as is. Added some scratch built thingies and now looks like the Kurfürst office.
The cockpit is done. Time to move on to the engine compartment.
The gun sight glass will be added once the fuselage is closed.

Thanks. I wish Trumpeter had included the correct pit for this variant but they like most model manufacturers like to take shortcuts.
