1/32 avenger?!

Hi all:
I was in a hobby shop looking for the AM 1/48 Avenger. The guy said he would try to order one for me. I received a phone call a few days later saying that he found a future release from Trumpeter for a 1/32 Avenger. He asked me if I wanted to order it. I said yes, then asked the price. $130! It is still worth it for me. A lot of stuff can be done. I’m drooling thinking all that I could do.
Does any one know about this? It’s supposed to be released in December. Are there any aftermarket companies making parts, such as wings folded, or such? Thanks for any one who has any info on this.

heck 1/32nd scale you probably dont need any aftermarket parts

Unless Iam unaware the aftermarket peoples are coy. Unless Iam wrong they generally wait until after the release of the kit I would assume to better evaluate real time the actualy inacuracies of the kit as it was released or where it can stand to be improved and or modified. So If the release date which I have seen / heard as well Decberish I wouldn’t expect any ‘aftermaket’ till way after that. One exception mght be the Decal Guys.

Not much pre-release info on Trumpeter’s 1/32 Avenger. I am strictly guessing, but would be willing to bet it comes with a wing fold option. Other than decals, it will likely be a few months after release before any Aftermarket PE or resin detail sets become available.

I am SO looking forward to this kit.[:D][:D][:D][:D]

I WILL have one.

Hey all,
Last year the owner of my LHS went to Vegas for a lil vaca plus attended the Vegas model mfg show.
He saw the whole line up of Trumps new stuff. He said that the Avenger was very very nice looking.
At that point he mentioned that while talking to one of the reps, they mentioned that they were undecided if they were going to have wing folds. The a/c that they displayed did so who knows what the actual release will have.
The news is is that it should be out sometime in late October/November. Again I’ll believe it when I see it.
Can’t wait though…[:p][:p][;)]

Here’s the most info I’ve found on this kit so far. They’re also releasing a TBF 1-C.
