Anyone know where I can pick up some decals for a Tamiya 1/25 (NOT 1/35) Tiger I? I finished my build of the kit, but I misplaced the decals this weekend when my family moved in to our new house. I checked on thiefBay but to no avail, there is nothing. I know I can always call Tamiya and ask for another sheet ( kit 30611 is still in production) but I wanted to see if I had other options before I go that route. I appreciate any help guys as I’m not even seeing anything really when I Google it either.
Buy another kit on eBay to get the decals then use your existing kit for parts.
There’s a lot of space on 1/25 and most markings on a Tiger are fairly simple. Have you considered the possibility of perhaps painting the markings on using stencils? It’ll save you the time, expense, and hassle of trying to source decals, but give you far more realistic results.
Hey silver, unfortunately that is not an option because the kit is assembled already, I’m on the Decal phase. Even if It wasnt, I wouldn’t spend that much cash on a kit just to get decal sheets. That’s not a bad idea templar, but I ended up getting lucky guys. I sent an email to Tamiya USA and told them what is up and they sent me a replacement decal sheet free of charge. So I’m good now.
