1/24 scale figure question

Besides figures that are listed as 1/24 scale, or 1/25 scale, what would be the equivalent in millimeters for military miniatures? I want to model the Airfix 1/24 scale Hurricane, and I want aircrew for a sense of scale, and to add a little visual interest. There may not be an exact match for me to choose from in this scale as a pilot figure, but I can press-gang a scale figure that has the correct proportions into the RAF, circa 1940.

You’d be looking for a 75 mm figure.

You should be able to convert some of the available 1/24 or 1/25 scale figures in racing uniform to a pilot figure without too much difficulty. There are even large enough sets out there that could develop a few ground crew figures as well.
