Howdy gents.
Other than plastruck…Are there any thin sheets in styrene or metal for a ‘single style’ diamond plate in 1/32 or 1/35 scale?
Thanks!

The PE guys such as Eduard do various patterns, Modern, WW2, English, US, German, & vehicle Specific!
search for plate, on eduard.cz gives 48 types such as :
Floor plate Cross type 1/35, Catalogue No: 35786
I bought somechecker-plate in A4 stryene from Either Proops or Hannants at a show last year, for about USD$ 2.00,
Enjoy looking
ARGHHH!!!
God only knows where Plastruck gets their scale size from [%-)]…so I ordered me a sheet of VoyagerModel Antiskid plate set #2 ‘Diamond Plate pattern’ TE 015 and it was listed as 1/35 scale. I recieved it and ACK!..its a very fine and TINY pattern…nothing like the floor section I have from a WWII German Semitrack by Tamiya.
The packaging says 1.8 * 0.9…but the printing on the photo etch sheet says 1.90 X 0.60…and yes one has the * and the other has the X …not my typo. Does anyone have any idea what those numbers could mean??..I do not believe that its the sheet size. The actual sheet is 7" X 3.5"
So…Is diamond plate in 1/35th scale very small and almost un noticable and did Tamiya over do it a bit and mold a floor pattern that is more like 1/24?..OR…did the shop lable the stuff I bought incorrectly and its smaller than 1/35???
If you want to compare you might have the kit in your stock or built. Its the Tamiya 1/35 German 8 Ton Semitrack Sd.Kfz 7/1 kit No 35050-1800. If you have this kit or can get to one and see what I’m on about I would really appreciate your input and help.

I’m at my wits end.
For 1-24(25) scale are new Aber kits.
Dziekujemy Piterpanzer,
Have you used this product yourself?..If I read the add correctly it looks as if they are only in 1 inch X 1 inch pieces?
I need to cover a area of 3.5" X 5" and one other section that is 3" X 3.5"
Funny thing about that Tamiya kit…the pattern is ‘modern’ style Diamond plate.
WOWZA!! My scanner is better than I thought! I coudn’t take a photo better than this!..Here is the Tamiya part compared to a U.S. Dime…17mm in dia. THIS is the size that is PERFECT for my project!
OPINIONS PLEASE: What is your take on this scale so I can get an idea what to be looking for since most Hobby shops do not stock items for personal comparison.
Prosze bardzo= You are welcome !
I don`t use new kit yet,but will when start new project in 1-25 scale -Sdkfz7 or something from pz IV family.
It is 14,5cm x 7,8cm big. (1" = 1 in. = 25,4 mm)
Thanks! I’ll look into it. [:D]…Aber may not be easy to obtain here in the States?
If anyone else has a way of comparing the photo to something you may have lying around and can tell me who makes it that would be cool
The VoyagerModel 1/35 scale brass Diamond Plate set 16X9 cm or 3.5 X 7 1/4" is still in its package.
If anyone wants to trade for the same amount of 1/24 Diamond plate …I’m cool with that.
