Coming together very, very nicely!

Out of curiosity, do you know how many parts in the kit?

Thanks Marcus , Mike . Much appreciated . Mike the box said about 950 pieces , don’t know if that includes the PE or not , as their is 4 frets of it .

Gorgeous!

thanks jlavender , back from a short break at the coast , managed to get the aft davits in and boats attached .

the finished product

Gorgeous!

I love this painting of Adm. Togo at Tsushima. Your boat is painted as the Battle of the Yellow Sea 9 months earlier, but I think the sandbags are really cool, and you should model them.

Looks great!

Hi Steve!

Wow! That is fantastic work and all done in 2 months. Got to be a record for a 1/200 scale Warship and a beautifully done model at That!

Thanks for posting this Steve. Great job. I might have thought you rushed as I only popped in a few times and to catch up and I looked in today and… you were done! Now, are you going to do a few more in 1/200 for a nice comparison display?

Jim

P.S. Nice Turnbuckles. They actually look they will work.

cheers nino , I will be doing another 1/200 at a later date , got to find somewhere to put it , would love to do the missouri . their is a bloke on you tube doing one now , looks fantastic , I am doing the prince of wales now 1/350 about the same size as the mikasa .and I just finished the borodino , that was a fun build too . the turn buckles I copied off of another bloke on you tube , they added a neat look to the boat .
