1/20 scale PT boat.need your opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi guys,as you can see Im new here but thank god not to the hobby, its keeps me sane. Heres the problem,Im building a Mosquito boat hobbies upgraded Dumas PT in 1/20 scale,Ive searched the web for about 6 months for US Navy Sailors,my choices come down to 1/24 guys from hsl mouldings, perfect except the crew would be around 5ft 1or go with 1/18 scale guys who would be around 6ft 5or6 your comments or suggestions would be of great help…thanks Alan

Geeze Allan, sounds like an interesting one to me. I would say try to buy a couple of each and maybe try to shorten the taller ones a little and make them a little more life like. If you do that maybe you could get a more realistic crew by having some of varied height. As you already know we all come in many shapes and sizes. Good luck.

And welcome to the FSM forum.

[:D] Im going to modify some 1/18 scale figs, also use some tamiya 1/20 pit crew guys, they should work good being in shorts ,perfect for south pacific PT crews and a few others misc figs,I just have seen too many other beautiful boats that looked strange with out crews. As the project gets along i will post some pics …
