I loved Tamiya-Con. I went to two of them and they were the best contests I’d been to. Up in Aliso Viejo they had 1:1 subjects in the parking lot, the RC tank battles and great models in the contest. I prefer 1/16 figures and your Samurai looks pretty intimidating. Way to push through and get it done!

I agree completely. Tamiya Con was my favorite contest/show/event. I went from 2005 till they stopped having it. I was gravely disappointed when they quit as it had become a yearly pilgrimage that I looked forward to and built for. Great memories.
