[(-D]. as far as “models” thread, i’ve been busy working (very slowly) on it but as of today right this minute…i am done…with the base!!! LOL. i think the addition of the tree and the groundwork and debris…looks great. i have more figures to do (and perhaps a humvee) but it wont take that long. i am going back to the m-i-l’s house this weekend so i will take some work with me to do and the way i see it…i will be done by this time next week or by the weekend of that week!!! yeah, who cares if it took me 4 months!!! lol. [:-^].
thanks 4 the wheel btw, though im not sure anymore about adding white to lighten the colors. i have been like u said writting down my color schemes. base colors, highlights, shadows…etc. also appreciate the putty idea with the tree…but i think its solid now. just needed time to dry descent enough. if not…i will try it bud!
Give those leaves a few layers of CA. First to tack them on, then a drop or two later with time to dry in btwn.
psst, thanks for the color wheel and the tips on cataloging my own chips … but no thanks. I’m of the opinion that no two models will ever have the same colors in them … even if your doing dios within the same period. Light always strikes things differently.

That’s my favorite shot from the whole movie- it really exemplifies the tactics and realism of the era. Flower pots deflect incoming fire without sustaining damage, waving your gun around in the air will kill any and all persons while friendly forces are immune. Etc.
No problem, I agree though, not sure it’d be worth the effort, lighting in itself could easily cause variations between two different uniforms within feet of eachother-
hey, they have to be immune to the bullets…how else would you brainwash kids (like myself) into joining the military. if it was all “plattoon” with blood and guts…who would say “yeah!!! that’s for me”?? unless u had some sort of deficency. legal statement any one who reads this i am not implying those in the military are either deficent nor misguided (i myself was one of them)…just making a point only.
