1/144 Revell A321 Austrian "Millennium" *Finished*

Impressive, Chris. How’d the decals treat you? I seem to struggle with them about half the time.

Looking good! Looks like you’re close to the finish line.

That’s some cool livery

Not too bad, only ones that were on the challenging side were the aft side decals. Tried both cutting and not cutting them and the ones I cut turned out a little better. Other than that it was mostly time consuming more than anything getting all the little hatch and stencil decals on.

Getting closer to done. Added a pinwash to the wings to bring out the details. I also painted on the metal area for the apu on the tail which i forgot to do previously. I will add, i had read that a big issue with acrylics is that they frequently are not properly mixed. Even if you shake them vigorously they still will result in blotchy and bad looking. So to this end i got out my magnetic mixer and the results are night and day compaired to the fan blades I painted with paint that had been shakened.

Finished up real nice

Nice job Chris! A fun livery, and again I think those decals would present a huge challenge to most. You nailed em. Really great work!

The face decals were not that difficult to work with. The main issue was the numerous stencil decals that need to go on, which was just very time consuming to do.

Well done. That’s quite a livery and I to like airliner builds.
