1/144 B-52H Done...

Finished up my 1/144 Revell B-52H today.

Assembly was very straight forward, and everything fit together with minimal sanding. It was a very relaxing kit to assemble. And for $5…I am think it is A-OK.

I wasnt to pleased with my paint job, but I will live with it. And the decals really fought me. I know, I know…I need to use Future! Thats my mistake. []

But here she is… [:D]

The last pic is hanging with my AMT/ ERTL 1/72 B-52G for comparison.

Comments are welcome. Thanks for looking!

Very Cool and Well Done and you got to Love off the planes hanging up there [:D]

1 think to ask, what kind of decals did you use on it ?

If they are regular decals you might want to look into getting this, http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares.asp?MerchantID=RET01229&Action=Catalog&Type=Product&ID=82400

Just my [2c] , but it does look GOOD

Bud

The decals were out of the box (14 years old). Thanks for the heads up on the decal set-up. I have several kits that could benefit from that.

Very nice. That’s HUGE…even in 1/144th! I love tha last pic with all of the planes. I hope you wear a hard hat in that room.

[#ditto] Looks good to me.

Well done TAdan.

Really nice job. How many bottles of paint did you go through ? What is the wing span ?

Well done! I’m a little biased on the scale though. The wingspan is about 40cm.

Looks great, you really need an Air Traffic Controller in that last shot.

Nice work on the BUFF. It makes a good contrast to the 1/72 version.

Very nicely done.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

As far as how much paint I used. I probably went through about 1/2 a jar of Testors MM Enamel to paint the entire thing. When I did the 1/72 Bird (years ago) I know I used atleast two full jars, and probably 3/4 of another, lol. (Shoulda bought a bucket of house paint, lol…)
