Guys,
A friend of mine gave me 1/100th scale Accurate Minatures UH-1B Huey kit a few years ago. It had our Sharks Teeth on the nose is why he got it for me. I finally opened it up and it’s a “H” model with the weapons like the 1/32 Revell “Gunship” of the Huey. The kit is a real jewel. The main cabin doors are open and it has a nice interior. Looks like a scaled down 1/32 Revell Huey but with a correct nose. The kit # is 3101. Has anyone esle seen these kits around. I’d like to get my hands on a few more but they are probably not in production anymore.
You know… I can remember having a small H model kit, purchased at the old Aviation Museum gift shop the last time I was stationed at Rucker ('78), it stands out in my memory BECAUSE of it’s scaled down similarities to the Revell kit. I bet it got put in the yard sell my wife had before we left… it was still in the box, but had been thoroughly test-fitted and flown around the room.[:)]
How’s the Box-Art?
Take care,
Frank
Frank,
The box art is a 3/4 side view of a UH-1H with the Sharks Teeth, quad 60’s, and 7shot rocket pod with another one in the background. It was a black box with the exploded directions on the back. The old Hasegawa 1/72 kit is almost a scaled down copy of the 1/32 Revell kit too with the quad 60’s and minigun. It’s box art depicts a Cav ship with a flight of sevral “slicks” behind it. The date on the Accurate Minature box is 1994. Parts made in Korea of course.
Graet Models is showing a reissue of a 1/100 scale UH-1H and AH-1G both by Revell of Germany. They also show a bunch of other 1/100 and 1/144 scale stuff.

Gino,
Thanks! The discription looks correct. I’ll have to check them out.
