It’s looking nice!
Holy smokes! Are you going to kit it? Will it be resin or injection? Can I have one? or lots of ones?
BTW, awesome freakin work man!
Thanks guys[:D]
Wow such excitement[:p] I would love to kit it. The idea I have is to cast it up either way because I have three variants I’m working on. This was the best base to start with and they would all share the same nacelles, have modifide neck and hulls and the rest would be scratch built. Thanks again for the comments and intrest.
WOW! [:p]
Very nice! Keep us posted if/when you kit this one.

So, the molds done yet, Matt? [:D]
Hey thanks Leelan
I’m about a month out[:D][:p]
OK I’m markin’ my calendar and gonna start a hundred “is it done?!?” posts exactly 30 days from today! [:D]
OK Not really. [;)] I am looking forward to it, tho.
I think it looks Great. I want to ask though, is it the same in length and width as the Polar Lights D-7? Also very nice detail.
Trust me Jeff I keep asking the same thing…are we there yet…are we there yet…are we there yet…[8-]
Thanks Admiral. No its not quite the same size as the TOS D7. The K’ Tinga (or TMP version) was 14 meters shorter, over all a little smaller than the original. I compensated for that in the build up to keep with the scale, somewhere around 1/2" I don’t remember off the top of my head.
So when will the 1/350 version be ready Maxx? ha ha ha
Sweet work mate… I am becomming more and more a fan of the Klingon stuff…
Chris
[(-D] I wish!!! Any idea how much resin that would be. A TON-O-BUCKS for sure!
Thanks for the feed back Chris. It looks like some more of the alien designs are popping up so we should see a lot more offerings. Maybe someone is starting to listen[:D]
Just wait 'til Matt unveils his new project over here! [:D]

You know its strange… I was never really a big fan of any of the TOS stuff… Even the original Enterprise always looked like a 1960’s funky retro Thunderbirds cardboard job… But it has started to grow on me… I have built 3 in different scales in the last few weeks 1/2500 for my collection, 1/1600 for the 3 set I did for someone, and now I am doing the original 18" version… I always thought that for me, the Enterprise -A was the be all and end all, but all of the Enterprise versions have grown on me!
As for the alien stuff… I used to think that the TOS Romulan bird of prey was the most un-inspired, just throw together piece of crap put on a tv screen. But now it would have to be one of my favourite ships… After biulding it, and then seeing it finished with its beautiful eagle design, it really is a beautiful ship to display!
Your Kilingon works are just fantastic… Made me start to appreciate the older stuff alot more when people like yourself give us great subjects to look at!
Chris
you know matt the official designation of the K’tinga is the D7T which still makes it a D7.
Yep. They are both D7 class Mike. I do have to say I like the looks of the K’Tinga a whole lot more.
well of course since the original TOS D7 pretty much was very spartan in detail unlike the TOS Enterprise.
