Excellent!!! Nice job Naza.

Beautiful work! Nice to see such an unusual vessel. Can you provide a bit of background on the vessel and why you chose to do this subject?

Thanks, Rick

I have been looking at some of the Ulstein X bow ships as possible RC.

What did you use for hull plans?

Umi_Ryuzuki ,Thanks …i used a very basic technique and miterials because i doesn’t have a blue print for this project. What i did was…sketch a simple outline drawing acording to a top view and side view photo that i’ve down load from a website.

Sory for the late reply [8D]

Great methodology,…

The model is even more enjoyable seeing the building process.

Thank you for the link. [8D]

Amazing build. Indeed, thanks for the link for the build process. Incredible job with your ‘guesstimating’ of the hull!

Thanks Umi_Ryuzuki,Aurora-7.I’ll appriciate it[:)]

Naza,

Thanks for providing the link to the build thread. As others have noted, the final project is even more amazing and beautiful once the work behind it is seen.

One additional question, and I have to say I am quite new to all this, but what materials did you use for fabricating the hull?

Thanks again for sharing!

Cheers, Rick

Rick,

I used high impact plastic for the hull frame. Its came in difference thickness and size, In fact most of the parts I used the same materials as well. And yellowish plaster is a polly putty, it’s the same materials for real car putty. Both are purposely for industrial used. And a few size of wire that I had bough from electrical shop to make a railing.

We have a very limited source for hobby stuff here, therefore I’ve to make used to what ever that’s available and cheap here.

Hope that’s will help,Thanks

Naza

Fantastic job and a very unique vessel.
