007, not James Bond, either!

Most all armor fans know which 007 I mean.Guys, I am currently involved in a rather large project using the excellent original Dragon #6253 Late Tiger, to build the Befehlswagen Version of Tiger Ace Michael Wittmann.I have done a search of this forum and came up with some excellent info on the radios used in this version.I am in the process of adding the Verlinden interior to this beast and was wondering about any advice on the interior layout in the Befehls version.Any and all help would sure be appreciated.Pics, drawings or just a good description would be helpful.Chris

“The name is Wittmann…Michael, Wittmann…”

Shaken not stirred!

Rather badly shaken in Normandy actually. Anyone else read Anthony Beevor’s new book about D-day yet? Finished it on holiday and it is very interesting. Wittmann’s Villers Bocage attack is mentioned in it (of course).

Here’s some entertainment…

I really loved his Stalingrad book, but I didn’t think the Berlin book was as good,How would you rate this one,is it a good read??

Hi Anthony, I would rate this best of the 4 I have read (although I must confess I never got through his book on the Spanish civil war [:I]). I really enjoyed his book on the fall of Berlin but I read most of the book last year when I was in Berlin [:-^]. The newest book is a good read, especially the part about the French forces “liberating” Paris will bring a knowing smile to non- French faces [swg].

Sorry guys, I had to be out of town and was unable to use the computer for the last week. Thanks for your replys.I think I have nailed down the info I was looking for. Thanks again, Chris
